Introduction to Pastels Workshops
Introductory workshops are aimed at beginners or those just starting out on their journey with soft pastels. The informal session will introduce you to different types of soft pastels, plus the paper, materials and accessories commonly used successfully with this medium.
The session will give you practical experience of applying pastels to paper. It will help you to decide if this medium is for you, and hopefully guide you to the types of pastels that work best for your style of artwork, preferably BEFORE you invest in expensive materials. Pastels can be messy, so they don’t suit everyone!
Workshops are available at the following venues:
Fairfield Mill
Farfield MIll is situated just outside Sedbergh. Workshops take place in Carol’s studio, which is located on the 4th floor of the mill.
4 – hourly sessions are available for up to 3 people at one time.
Costs per person are £65.00 which includes the use of all materials.
